I needed to review business topics I studied around 20 years old. This guide provides sample test questions and an outline of what you need to study for the Praxis2 business test. It is clear in its instructions and easy to follow.

I purchased this book to study for the TEXES Business Education Content exam since there is not a study guide for that test. I have not received my scores, yet, but I feel that it helped me tremendously. The content in the study guide seemed more difficult than the test, so I felt well prepared. Definitely worth the price, especially for the 100-question practice test included!

I found this study guide very disappointing. It contains a single practice test that consists of a mere 100 questions. The actual test is 120 questions. Additionally, the answer choices are A-E, while the sample answer sheet is A-D.

It lays out a study plan that essentially tells you to go re-read all of your business text books. That’s not especially helpful.

In order to be an acceptable study guide, it would need to contain a minimum of two full (120 questions each) practice tests. That way, you could take the first practice test to assess your study needs. Then, after you have studied, you could take the second practice test to determine your readiness to take the actual test.

In order to be a great study guide, it would need to contain three or four full practice tests.

The book gives you a great place to start from to begin preparing for the test. Make sure that you give yourself enough time to study though, because there is a lot to cover. The book gives you the main topics and it is up to you to get the details. The practice test inside is a great help and insight as to what you need to know. Good luck! ^_^

This book contains 1 (almost) full-length practice test. The book describes it as a retired 0100 praxis test. The practice test is 100 Qs, the real test is 120. The book includes a good short explanation of each answer. What the book does NOT include is any study material – there is simply a long list of topics that one should study to prepare for the praxis. You are left on your own to actually find the material to study.

However, for the price, it’s a good practice test. I took the ones I missed and looked up more info about those online. I also bought a digital download of another practice test. Given those results, I know what I need to brush up on and I feel confident about the test.

    Good luck!!
