    I purchased this book because it was required for my Science in Elementary class. I love the layout of this book, and I like that it is informative but not boring. This text is very easy to understand and provides examples of real world applications that teachers across the country use when teaching this subject. It also provides meaningful and easy science application experiments and includes a copy of the national standards, of which are extremely helpful when writing units and lesson plans.
