This portfolio textbook offers a good introduction to the development of an early childhood education portfolio. It is geared specifically to early childhood education (as versus early childhood special education) students, with the standards based on the National Association for the Education of Young Children. There is a textbook published by the same company at three dollars less in cost, with identical text. Students who are watching their budgets will want to keep that in mind.
